Geramot Facial Steam

This is for slightly blemished skin!

15 drops bergamot essential oil

1 gallon almost boiling water

Pour the water and the oil into a large bowl. Cover head with towel and lean over the bowl at least 10 inches away! Steam for about 15 minutes

Lavender Facial Steam

This steam is primarily for oily skin or acne prone skin!

12 drops lavender essential oil

1 gallon almost boiling water.

In a large bowl add the essential oil and water. Place towel over head and allow the steam to relax your skin! Please stay at least 10 inches away from skin or you may scald yourself, and steam for about 15 minutes!

Peppermint, Rosemary and Thyme Facial Steam

Normal to Oily Skin

5 drops peppermint essential oil

5 drops rosemay essential oil

2 sprigs fresh thyme (1 tablespoon dried)

1 gallon boiling water

Pour the water into a large boil and add the thyme. Let the water cool down slightly (1-2 minutes) then add your essential oils.

Place face over bowl and cover your head with a towel keeping your face 10 inches from the bowl for approximately 12-15 minutes.

Rose Petal Facial Steam

This is recommended for normal to oily skin

1 1/2 cup fresh rose petals

1 gallon of almost boiling water (add the rose water into this)

Put the fresh petals in a large bowl and poor the almost boiling water mixed with the rose water over them.

Place towel over head and lean face over bowl about 10 inches away to absorb the steam, vapors and open your pores. Keep breathing for about 12-15 minutes. Pat dry.

Do not toss the water or the petals when you are done! You can use this again to make rose water!
