I call this one my meal scrub because I used so many different types of meals. This can be used from head to toe which is one of my favorite reasons for making this all the time. I like to make it in bulk as I use this all over.
For normal skin
1 cup ground oatmeal
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup sunflower meal
1 teaspoon ground rosemary leaves
1 teaspoon ground peppermint leaves
1 tablespoon neroli
1/4 teaspoon fresh cinnamon shavings
1/4 cup milk
(1/4 cup heavy cream if you have dry skin)
(1/4 cup distilled water for oily skin)
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the dry ingredients before adding your liquids.
Slowly spoon in your liquids (add the essential oil last). Blend well. Move your products to the storage container. Do not over blend it needs to be in a paste like substance.
This will refrigerate well for 3-4 days.
Application: Apply generously on skin in a circular motion, rinse off.

This is for oily skin or those with bad acne. If you have dry or sensitive skin I do not recommend using this on your face. This is to be used as a daily acne deterrent and always follow with a moisturizer. Store in a cool place (we recommend the fridge for extra cooling pleasure!) in a glass or plastic bottle.
1 1/2 cup distilled water
1 1/2 table spoons yarrow
1 tablespoon chamomile flowers
1 teaspoon calendula
8 drops peppermint oil
In a small size saucepan bring your distilled just to the point before boil. Remove the water from the heat and add the herbs. Allow them to steep for 20 minutes, once that time has passed you then add the essential oils. Then you pour the concoction into a glass jar or plastic container and shake well.
This will only last for a week. But if you are using it twice a day generously applied then you should run out at the end of the week so as you are not tempted to use stale ingredients.
Apply generously with a non bleached (if possible) cotton pad around face and neck. May be used on shoulder and back areas as well. Place cucumber slices over your eyes as to not get the astringent in your eye.

5 teaspoons green tea leaves
1 drop peppermint oil
4 oz distilled water
1 teaspoon aloe vera gel (optional)
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
The reason why the gel and juice are optional, is that you should choose which one you’d prefer to work with. Lemon is a natural astringent but can irritate some skin types. The same goes for the softer aloe vera but it does have cooling effects some like.
Mix together and place in a glass jar or a spritzer bottle. Gently spritz on face, or take a cotton ball and dip and rub gently over face and neck.
Recommended to be refrigerated for further cooling effects.

1/4 cup chamomile tea (brewed and cooled to room temp)
1/4 cup oatmeal (lightly ground)
2 tablespoons honey
2 drops of almond oil
Combine the ingredients. Rub over face and neck gently but still with enough pressure to exfoliate the skin.
For deep cleansing leave the scrub on to create a mask, or you can wash off with warm water and pat dry. Moisturize if desired.

2 tablespoons grated beeswax
1 teaspoon shea butter
14 drops flavor oils
4 drops vitamin E

The honey, beeswax and shea are all natural softners and healers.
Please note this makes quite a lot of lipbalm so you can take a dozen or so small containers or 4-5 larger containers. They make superb gifts
Directions:
Take a double boiler to melt the beeswax, oil and shea on a low heat. When the shea and beeswax is entirely melted, add your flavor and mix.
Once you have mixed it well poor quickly into the containers. Allow to cool, it will thicken as it cools.
