This is not only a really good relaxation wrap but it also helps to detoxify your body!
1 Cup fresh lemon grass, chopped (or 1/2 cup dried)
1 5 inch long piece of ginger root (grated or minced)
5 tablespoons coconut oil
Extras:
1 Large pot
1 cotton or liunen sheet (white or natural color) (cut into 4-5 inch wide strips)
1 shower curtain liner
1-2 blankets
Fill your pot with water and bring it to a boil, place your lemon grass, ginger and coconut in the pot on a low simmer cover and let stand for 5-7 minutes. (Do not over boil the herbs as you will burn them)
Strain out as many herbs as possible (keep the water)
Place your strips in your water and let “steep” for 5-10 minutes. (You may want to keep this on the warm burner to maintain the warmth in the water)
Wring out the strips and place them on a platter
lay down on your plastic sheet wrapping your strips snugly from ankle to collar bone.
Relax for 20-25 minutes.
Remove strips and with a light water only (no soap) rinse your body off!

A seaweed wrap puts back all the minerals we lose on a daily basis!
This will make it so you have a thin layer, however if you want a thicker layer that is fine this recipe is simple enough to double or triple depending on your body size and preference
16 ounces dried or powdered seaweed
enough water to make a paste.
Extras:
Plastic Sheet/Shower Curtain
1-2 Blankets
Place your blanket on the bottom of your tub then place your plastic sheet/shower curtain atop of the blanket.
Cover your self liberally with the seaweed paste from the collar bone to your ankles.
Wrap yourself with the sheet your laying on and the blanket or the additional blanket.
Relax for 25-30 minutes
Slowly unwrap yourself and remove the blankets and sheets. Fill the tub with luke warm (but not hot) water and relax for an additional 10 minutes. Just wash off the paste with water.
Pat yourself dry and remember to moisturize!

Please see Techniques and Tools for tips on how to prepare for a body wrap!
1/4 cup annatto seeds crushed
1 cup fresh lavender root grated
1 cup fresh chamomile chopped as finely as finely as possible
1/2 cup dried chamomile
1/2 cup lavender
Extra supplies needed:
1 white cotton or linen sheet (non dyed) (doesn’t have to be high thread count) cut into 4 inch wide strips.
1 large pot for boiling
1 shower curtain liner or plastic sheet
1 cozy robe
1 cozy set of slippers
1-2 Blankets
Directions:
Place your plastic sheet on the floor. Fill the pot with water and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling place the herbs in and let simmer for 5-7 minutes (do not over boil them or you will burn the leaves) Remove pot from the heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
With a strainer scoop out from the water as many herbs as possible. Place your cotton strips into the pot and let them “steep for 5 minutes” If your water is getting too cool at this point you can place it over a very low heat to maintain the warmth.
Take the strips and wring the excess water out of them place them on a platter and goto your “relaxation spot.”
Lay down on the plastic sheet
Place the strips tightly (but breathable) around your body starting from the legs up.
Cover yourself with the blankets and set a timer for 15-20 minutes. Slowly unwrap, get into your robe and relax.
Do not do any exerting actives for up to a half an hour after your wrap. Allow your body to warm up to regular movement!
