The Meal Scrub
Thursday, August 7th, 2008 |I call this one my meal scrub because I used so many different types of meals. This can be used from head to toe which is one of my favorite reasons for making this all the time. I like to make it in bulk as I use this all over.
For normal skin
1 cup ground oatmeal
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup sunflower meal
1 teaspoon ground rosemary leaves
1 teaspoon ground peppermint leaves
1 tablespoon neroli
1/4 teaspoon fresh cinnamon shavings
1/4 cup milk
(1/4 cup heavy cream if you have dry skin)
(1/4 cup distilled water for oily skin)
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the dry ingredients before adding your liquids.
Slowly spoon in your liquids (add the essential oil last). Blend well. Move your products to the storage container. Do not over blend it needs to be in a paste like substance.
This will refrigerate well for 3-4 days.
Application: Apply generously on skin in a circular motion, rinse off.
